Time Square was in a process of major change in 2009. According to the new site plan, a section of Broadway from 42nd st to 47th st was under the transformation into a pedestrian plaza. The change and its effect on micro businesses was recorded based on interviews, site plan and crowd pattern in 2009 and then followed up in 2012.
